The solution of the problem of constructing the projection of the pyramid is similar to the solution of the problem of constructing a plane parallel to a given one.
Algorithm for solving the problem of descriptive geometry on the construction of the pyramid projection:
- When carrying out the task of descriptive geometry at the intersection of two planes given by triangles, we constructed the projections of the triangle ABC. The coordinates of the points A, B and C of the vertices of the triangle ABC are no different from the values of the coordinates of the points A, B and C of the vertices of the triangle of the pyramid's base, so we copy the axes of coordinates X, Y, Z and the projection of the triangle ABC from this drawing.
- Next, we build a perpendicular to the plane given by the triangle ABC of the base of the pyramid.
- Determination of the natural size of the perpendicular by the method of a rectangular triangle.
- Lay off on the perpendicular section AS (height of the pyramid). We construct the edges of a rectangular pyramid.
- By the method of competing points, we determine the visibility of the edge of the pyramid.
