# Crossing the line with the pyramid

In this video tutorial we will construct the intersection of a straight line and a pyramid. Recently we built the intersection of polyhedra (pyramids and prisms), so with the intersection of the straight line and the pyramid, you should not have any difficulties.

Given:

- The height of the pyramid is 70 mm.
- The diameter of the auxiliary circle is 60 mm.
- Direct general position.

## Algorithm for solving the problem of intersection of a line and a pyramid

- We draw through the line of general position the front-projecting plane.
- We construct the lines of intersection of the pyramid with the front-projecting plane.
- We mark the intersection points of the projections of the line with the projections of the intersection lines.
- Determine the visibility of the intersection of the line with the pyramid.
